The pond is a
whopping 1,400 gallons (5,300 liters) not including the additional 100 gallon
(380 liters) bog pictured off to the side. Located in New York City, NY,
construction began in march 2004 and took several grueling months of loving
labor to complete.
We currently have 13
happy koi. 6 of them yearlings, 6 of them 2 year olds, and a surprising new
addition to our pond in the form of a fry, thanks to our fishes spontaneously
spawning this summer.
